The suspense thriller takes place on the beautiful islands of Philippines. Based on the original episodes, Tobias Zielony, Chicks On Speed, M+M, Keren Cytter, Julian Rosefeldt and John Bock each reinterpreted one of the six filmic sequences. The cinematography is excellent, scenery fantastic, together with some Hollywood grade sound design and great visual effects - it's really a must see for this weekend! This movie was very entertaining, an awesome lighthearted action flick. Watching golf is more exciting than watching this. Soon, the girls learn they are in over their heads. It feels like a bunch of film students got together and decided to do a film. The plot continuity gets worse as the next day two soldiers show up and question Amy if she knows where her boyfriend is located and they tell her not to leave town.
I didn't know what movie I wanted to see this past weekend, but after watching the trailer, I decided to check out deep gold. The setting in which the movie was shot was quite enjoyable. I didn't pay to watch this movie but i felt like they owed me money after watching this. . The underwater action scenes provided great action, but they were too dark and often lacked details.
At first I didn't care about her, but I did warm up to her her sister, played by Jaymee Ong. The 3D was quite acceptable, although in some scenes it was clear that it was done later and the filmmakers did not shoot the film in 3D. This isn't even fun or light entertainment, it's simply abysmal. I am surprised that they are still up as of December 2015. Deep Gold seems like it might be a decent movie when you start watching it, but the way in which the plot progresses is simply uninteresting.
Perhaps the biggest surprise was the character played by Michael Gleissner, which added a flavor to the movie that made it more entertaining, it was a personality that brought more attention even if every part of the movie wasn't as captivating. Buñuel used the motif of amour fou to criticise the restrictions and conventions of the time: the Catholic Church, the political establishment, the bourgeois morality, the aristocracy, etc. The islands they filmed on looked amazing, and added such a great backdrop. Throughout the film he embodies a symbol of the constrained modern society Buñuel assaulted in the early twentieth century. Great job on the underwater diving scenes and car chase! Congratulations to the cast and crew.
And a plane goes 'missing' in broad daylight having been watched by a local radio broadcaster who narrates it live! I didn't lift my glasses once like I did when I saw Last Airbender or Clash of the Titans. Stay away from this horrific movie and spend your money more wisely. Amy decides to go find the plane and clear her name even though she is not really accused of anything. I'm not sure if that was intended, but I was into it. The acting is horrible, the story doesn't make any sense, the cinematography and the editing suck big time.
Promiscuity and freedom from behavioural codes are excessively celebrated at the club, while the protagonist wanders around like a stranger — used to the inhibited bourgeois world he derives from. Some of the actors were better then others, but overall way better then the average independent film. Both action and 3D are very ambitious attributes for they typically exceed the independent film budget. Was it her boyfriend or another character? Also, I was super surprised that this movie was in 3D. Her boyfriend Tony Jack Prinya is in the air force and must pilot a shipment of gold to Manila. I didn't know any of the actors or really that much about the storyline, but I was totally surprised, the movie ended up being awesome! And all other Bigfoot films are B-movies at best, but most lower than that. Her sister asks if they have a warrant, meanwhile a news team shows up at their same outdoor table.
Being an independent film, you never know what to expect. I saw the ads and saw the billboards and even though I didn't know any of the actors I wanted to check it out and I'm glad I did. You must have a huge ego to be both director and actor, unfortunately it rarely works, only Tarantino manages to break the barrier. Overall, the movie was entertaining. We do know there was foul play involved, but we are not shown who it was.
The plot is reminiscent of other great work sarcastic by Fred Bailey who still somehow manages to sell his scripts and have movies made out of them. Mick Gleissner and Amelia Jackson Gray did a great job in their roles. Kudos to Jaymee Ong for a wonderful performance. I also enjoyed the performance of the actor playing the main Philippine officer. Would recommend it to others! It's a total genre driven action flick! Surprisingly good performances from Michael Gleissner, Jaymee Ong, Amelia Jackson-Grey and the smoking' hot Laury Prudent.
