Even so, most of the pranks are original, and it's a mindlessly fun film to watch. Her take-no-prisoners attitude is refreshing, even if she is continuously shown being kicked in the face. As in the first two Austin Powers movies, there are more references to the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team. Some parts I did laugh out loud. So I Married An Axe Murderer was great. He succeeds in creating these people who seem real unto themselves. Good, but not your best effort.
