Those annoying 10,000-rpm vibrations could barely be felt, leaving the rider to happily spin the motor up to redline. Other than those two down falls, this is a great bike and has given me no troubles. As noted in the opening paragraph, the new 650 doubled the number of camshafts and valves. Very dependable, just change fluids and go. Another down fall about this bike is the gas tank size.
She runs with the 750 with no problems and is smooth and nimble. Good lines, good paint, cast alloy wheels, megaphone-styled exhaust and 65 horses out of an all-new 655cc in-line four.
